Children’s Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist Director & Founder, Peak Therapy Ltd
Lauren is a Children’s Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist with over 15 years of experience across the NHS and private sector. She works with children of all ages and with all types of communication difficulties, offering assessment and therapy across speech, language, social communication and early interaction.
Alongside her broad paediatric expertise, Lauren has a specialist interest in supporting children with complex communication needs. She spent eight years leading an NHS team as their Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC) Specialist, and continues to provide highly specialist AAC support through Peak Therapy Ltd.
Her approach is child‑centred, evidence‑based and designed to make therapy engaging, accessible and motivating. Every session is tailored to each child’s strengths and needs, ensuring they feel confident, supported and understood.
Lauren works with families across High Peak, Derbyshire Dales and Sheffield.
Peak Therapy Ltd works in partnership with a small network of highly skilled associate Speech and Language Therapists. Each therapist brings their own specialist expertise, allowing us to match children, families and schools with the right professional for their needs.

To ensure the highest standards of safety and quality, all of our therapists are DBS checked and registered with ASLTIP, RCSLT, and HCPC. This means every member of our team meets national professional requirements and is committed to delivering safe, ethical and evidence‑based practice.
